More Publishing News
“The Backpack” was accepted this week for the Desert Sleuths’ 2021 Anthology, So West: Love Kills. “Lucky Seven,” which recently won 3rd place in the City Limits Publishing contest, will soon be published in a yet-to-be-named anthology.
These two will join “Spirit in the Sky,” released November 2020 in Peace, Love, and Crime: Crime Fiction Inspired by the Songs of the ’60s and “Chains,” released April 2017 in BUSTED! Arresting Stories from the Beat.
Four other stories appear in Kings River Life Magazine: “A Grave Development,” “Cheating Death,” “Miss Aggie’s Pigs,” and “The Drop.” Two long short stories are on Smashwords. I’m currently reworking one into a novella. There’s a short video about “Miss Aggie’s Pigs” in the right sidebar.
A Rough Year Around the World, Yet Promise Rises
This has been a year of tremendous loss around the world. Amidst it all, people have found a spark of hope. Many have come together to turn hope into promise, promise into reality.
As the United States celebrates Thanksgiving, I raise my glass to those who have persevered and helped us through to now. We have a long road ahead but there are many guides willing to help. Just reach out a hand.
I am thankful for so much and hope you find thanks in your heart as well.
Happy Thanksgiving to all
